BRANDING NEWS: Jupiter connects with finance audience through City AM podcast
Fund manager Jupiter has signed a deal to sponsor free London daily business paper City AM's podcast and 'mobozine', in a bid to reach its key City audience.
In exchange for an undisclosed sum, Jupiter gets a sponsored message in the opening and closing sequences of the free podcast, called City PM, and is featured in the paper's prominent front-page ad for the service.
Jupiter joins finance giant AXA, which sponsors the Daily Telegraph's News podcast.
Gordon Davidson, joint MD at Jupiter, says, âWe believe this strategic partnership raises awareness of the work of our fund managers to the paper's audience of City professionals.â
The five-minute podcast â which city workers can download every weekday at 5pm â is a mixture of the day's news, interviews with chief executives and 'vox-pops' with city workers on issues of the day.
