BRANDING NEWS: Success for Mercedes-Benz Vito app | B2B Marketing

Mercedes-Benz is riding the wave of apps momentum as its recently-launched Vito Sport Freestyle app recorded more than 23,000 downloads in its first week.

The app – named after the Mercedes-Benz van brand

Vito

– has leapt into the top 10 iTunes UK free games app chart and gained position 46 in the free apps worldwide chart, averaging around 3000 to 4000 new downloads a day.

Vito Sport Freestyle app was developed with mountain biking legend Martyn Ashton.

Steve Bridge, sales and marketing director at Mercedes-Benz Vans, commented, “The games are capturing the imagination of the players and there is a real buzz around getting the highest score possible.”
