Chime Specialist Group acquires US agency Method Communications to create £20 million global technology practice

Chime, the global sport, entertainment and communications group, has acquired San Francisco and Salt Lake City-based techn PR and marketing agency Method Communications to broaden the group’s US footprint.

The group is

aligning Method with its marketing agency Harvard

 – B2B PR agency of the year – and customer advocacy specialists inEvidence, in a global technology practice to build on its strategy of creating a differentiated global marketing services network for the tech sector.

The acquisition will grow the group’s technology practice billings to more than £20 million.

Method, which was founded by David Parkinson and Jacob Moon in 2010, is the agency behind

US technology companies including Check Point Software, Domo, Freshworks, New Relic, Pluralsight, and Qualtrics

.

Method, Harvard and InEvidence will report into Chime Specialist Group CEO Jo Parker. Louie St Claire, CEO of Harvard, will chair the newly formed tech group.
