Business to business marketing agency Blue Sheep has won a contract worth £750,000 to supply its customer analysis services to DSGi.

The collaboration marks part of DSGi's drive to expand its multi-channel marketing approach and rebrand its UK e-tail businesses.

DSGi (previously PC World Business) is the B2B arm of specialist electrical retailer DSG International and has over 500,000 business account customers in the UK. It is the leading IT reseller in the small business market through its PC World Business brand and its Equanet brand which plays a major role in supplying IT products and services to both medium and large sized enterprises.

Steve Lowes, customer insight manager for DSGi Business, says, "We were looking to combine state of the art customer analytics with high quality data management. Blue Sheep was able to deliver both elements with its extensive B2B experience and its UK Business Universe. We now look forward to reaping the business benefits."

The contract win for Blue Sheep comes at a time when it is keen to show its growth aspirations through the appointment of general manager, Richard Lee (pictured), in September. "We feel very confident that we will deliver the return on investment that DSGi Business expects in order to achieve its own business targets," he says.

The collaboration will see Blue Sheep delivering elements of its newly launched Aggregated Information Marketing Platform (AI:MP). This will include a hosted customer database solution which provides a detailed single customer view, data cleaning services and supplementary prospect data from Blue Sheep's market leading aggregated database, The UK Business Universe.
