Marketers around the world are coming to terms with the ongoing data explosion but they can be thankful they don’t have to manage the data centres Google unveiled recently.
It should come as no surprise to learn that Google owns some pretty gigantic server storage buildings, but a newly unveiled microsite lifts the lid on just how huge its mission of ‘organising the world's information’ really is.
Google is offering Street View tours of its data centres around the world, as well as photo albums and access to the stories behind the people and processes that ensure search queries and video requests around the world keep being served.
