EMAIL NEWS: Concep gets creative with new integrated offering

Digital marketing services agency Concep has expanded its marketing technology and services by launching a marketing communications arm to develop creative content for its largely B2B client-base.

Concep Evolution, which has been soft launched to clients, will provide initial strategic thinking for marketing communications across a range of online platforms.

Dwain Thomas, previously a director at Grey Interactive is MD of Concep Evolution, and will oversee the development of the new arm. The company is in the process of recruiting new account managers. Thomas said he would be looking to take on around ten extra staff in the next 12 months. Thomas claims traditional agencies underestimate the potential of digital marketing, and that the launch of Evolution – and Concep's move towards becoming a full service agency – will rattle its competitors.

“Traditional agencies still don't truly get what digital can do for a client. We are creating a digital agency that speaks with digital at the heart and is committed to showing people how they can interact online.”

Evolution, which focuses on financial and business clients has already completed two projects with six in the pipeline. It will use a mix of direct mail, online marketing and sales packages to target new clients.

Concep has grown rapidly since it formed four and a half years ago. It has also recently moved to larger premises in Fulham, London.
