EMAIL NEWS: Strongmail shows marketer’s disappointment with ESP | B2B Marketing

Strongmail

has revealed the majority of businesses surveyed are not happy with their email service providers (ESP).

The survey of over 1000 global businesses highlighted 77 per cent of those who employ an ESP have switched within the last two years and another third plan to do so in 12 months. Strongmail reveal the high turnover rate is down to lack of product features, limited services and high costs.

The survey also found that over 70 per cent of companies have integrated

social media

and

email

or plan to do so in 2010. The digital marketing company believe this supports the growth of ‘more sophisticated’ tactics like viral marketing campaigns.
