EVENT NEWS: O2 marketing chief tops the bill at B2B Marketing Conference

 B2B Marketing Conference November 18

Lorraine Stone, head of B2B marketing at O2, is the keynote speaker at B2B Marketing's inaugural annual conference - taking place at the Brewery in the City of London on November 18th.

The event is entitled ‘B2B marketing in the 21st century - the digital revolution' and focuses on three of the key themes which B2B brands must embrace to survive and thrive in the new environment - influencer marketing, social CRM and pull marketing.

Each stream is brought to life with a case study from a leading B2B brand, and with a best practice presentation outlining the steps that marketers must take to align themselves and their organisations. Case studies include Oracle, Cisco Webex and Sage.

The event also includes a presentation from B2B marketing guru, and a panel debate between Chris Wilson, chairman of ABBA, pitting his wits against Birddog MD and outspoke B2B Marketing columnist Scot McKee. The motion for debate will be ‘This house believes that traditional forms of B2B marketing are dead - brands must migrate to digital or die'.

The event is chaired by Joel Harrison, editor of B2B Marketing. "We're really excited about this event, " he comments. "This conference will give practitioners a head start into three of the key trends which will shape the B2B marketing space in the coming years - the aim is to inspire attendees to meet their current challenges head on, and be well prepared for the future."
