Octopus Group appoints Tom Upfold as new strategy director

Brand to sales agency Octopus Group has hired a new strategy director, Tom Upfold.

He will be leading on consulting engagements with its B2B tech clients as well as evolving the agency’s Brand to Sales offering. 

Before joining Octopus Group, Tom worked for 10 years at The Marketing Practice, where he ran an international strategy team working with clients such as Oracle, Microsoft, Sage and ServiceNow. 

The Octopus Group has achieved much success this past year, as they won the Grand Prix at the B2B Marketing Awards in 2019 for its “Tudder ‘Tinder for Cows'” campaign. They also recently hired 

David Montrose as creative director

 in January.
