Facebook’s new premium advertising offering will allow brands to garner better ROI figures from social media advertising.
The new product Premium places ads on mobiles and after the logout screen, boosting likely viewer and response rates.
Facebook Offers will now also allow brands to deliver fans special discounts on products and services.
Users will also start seeing more adverts in their timelines, as posts from brands ‘liked’ by friends are starting to pull through.
Richard Britton, managing director of CloudSense, said, “The launch of Facebook’s premium ad service highlights the potential for mobile and social channels to generate sales opportunities. Customers are no longer confined to one avenue to interact with brands.”
These developments were all announced in the same week Facebook announced the redesign of brand pages.
