Unlimited group increase B2B pillar with acquisition

B2B marketing agency, First Base has been acquired by Unlimited Group to joins its new B2B and technology stream.

The agency which specialises in content and digital strategy for inbound marketing, account-based marketing, lead nurture and demand generation, will bring customers such as Cognizant, Lenovo, IP Solutions and Proact.

Last month, the Unlimited underwent a major restructure and rebrand which saw its 27 agencies grouped into seven specialised streams, in order to provide a more integrated service. 

The B2B and technology stream only had one resident, Nelson Bostock, which could have been motivation behind the acquisition of another B2B agency.

First Base will still operate under its original name but will move to Unlimited Group’s London office, where all 27 agencies are currently housed, as part of the restructure.

Faye Hawkins, MD at First Base Unlimited described the move to Unlimited as a ‘launchpad for future growth’. “Having already partnered closely with Nelson Bostock Unlimited to deliver best-in-class marketing and technology solutions for shared clients, this move was a natural next step,” Hawkins said.
