Online platform provider EPiServer has launched MobilePack, designed to help marketers ease their way into mobile.
MobilePack offers marketers a set of templates and software to create mobile web applications. EPiServer is marketing the solution as an alternative to the ‘complexity and expense of entering the mobile channel.’
The software is based on HTML 5 allowing marketers to use familiar analytics tools to understand visitor preferences, it can also be customised by developers to create a richer mobile experience.
Bob Egner, vice president of product management and global marketing at EPiServer, said, “We’ve created MobilePack in the spirit of our open source community culture to solve a critical need. MobilePack is a solution that is easy to implement, puts power in the hands of marketers and editors, and ties into the digial ecosystem that is already in place.”
