Epson celebrates channel partner success with football tournament

Electronics company Epson invited its resellers from across the globe to take part in the ‘Epson World Cup 2015’.

The event, designed to celebrate the success of channel partner sales of its business inkjet printer range, took place at Manchester United’s Old Trafford home.

Twelve teams of Epson resellers from 15 countries across Europe, Asia and South America were assisted by Manchester United ‘legends’ – Quinton Fortune, Dwight Yorke, Ronny Johnsen, Jesper Blomqvist, Bryan Robson, Denis Irwin and Louis Saha – who joined them on the pitch throughout the weekend. Victory went to Germany in a penalty shoot-out against Italy.

Together with the football event, Epson and Manchester United revealed  an extension of their existing partnership.

Manchester United’s group managing director, Richard Arnold commented: “This is the second time Epson has extended its relationship with the Club – demonstrating the value that partnering with Manchester United brings to both the Club and to the partner.”
