The appointment follows the company’s alignment of its marketing and risk strategies, which led to the promotion of Bennett from his former role as its business development manager. He will now be responsible for the new sales team and developing a sales and customer support structure through recruitment and mentoring.
“I plan to work closely with the full B2B service team to develop alternative and intelligent marketing solutions which will set us further apart from the competition,” said Bennett on his new role. He added: “In the current economic climate we need to provide solutions that add value whether it is data cleansing, enhancement, analytics or customer/campaign management. Developments need to be innovative to make this a success, and I relish the opportunity and the challenge.”
Bennett joined Equifax in 2007. Prior to this he was the business development manager at Experian and head of agency team at Market Location.
The company’s new focus on its B2B marketing team has also seen three other new additions, resulting in a team with almost 40 years of experience in direct marketing.
