Everything Everywhere, the umbrella organisation comprising both Orange and T-Mobile, has rebranded to EE as part of the launch of its new super-fast 4G mobile phone network.
EE will also be the name of its 4G network, which is set to offer mobile broadband speeds of up to five times quicker than standard 3G coverage.
Users opting to remain on the 3G band spectrum will still be purchasing their mobile phone from the Orange and T-Mobile brands.
The 4G network has been launched today for testing, with London set to be the first UK city to receive full coverage.
The capital will then be joined by 16 other cities by the end of 2012.
