Facebook and PayPal make life easier for SMEs

Facebook joins forces with PayPal to help small international businesses reach its 400 million users.

Businesses around the world will be able to pay for Facebook adverts through the social media site’s online advertising tool. It has been designed with small businesses in mind as it is claimed the option to pay with PayPal makes it easier.

Social networking has grown in the B2B market with Facebook being one of the sites many businesses are using. The recent partnership with PayPal could see an increased amount of marketing from SMEs on the site.

Dan Levy, director of payment operations at Facebook says, “As our business has grown, offering local methods of payment has become increasingly important for advertisers who want to buy Facebook Ads. Teaming with PayPal, a global leader in online payments, makes this possible.”
