Facebook is to improve the quality of its analytics offering with introduction of real-time insights, according to technology blog Techcrunch.
This would be a significant improvement on the current 48-hour delay Facebook enforces on brands leveraging the platform for marketing activity.
Though originally cited as being set to be announced at this week, the blog has since amended the article and states that the ‘product is in the works’.
The introduction of real time analysis is likely to be welcomed by the marketing community but some question how much difference it will really make to the day-to-day running of social media campaigns.
