Workday launches rock star campaign with Gwen Stefani, Travis Barker, and Billy Idol

Enterprise software company Workday has launched two new TV commercials, “We’re All Rock Stars,” and “Rock Responsibly,” to highlight that corporate rock stars are indeed just as much real rock stars as the likes of Gwen Stefani, Travis Barker, and Billy Idol.

In the light-hearted 30-second adverts,the musicians tour an office and demand to take employee’s rock star status to highlight the contrast between their star-studded talent and those in the corporate world.

Emma Chalwin, CMO, Workday said: “While these rock icons might not consider us to be rock stars in the traditional sense, our customers around the world are the true rock stars of business and we want to celebrate that. We’re bringing that to life in the next wave of this multi-channel campaign with amazing talent, humor, and a bold, new edge aligned with what everyone loves about the Workday brand. We’re excited to show the world how Workday rocks the future of work.”

The campaign debuted 8th of April and is running until the 14th of April at The Masters, reaching a global audience in six key markets – Australia, Canada, France, Germany, the UK, and the US. This follows Workday’s “Rock Star” campaign which launched around the Super Bowl last year and received a Cannes Gold Lion for B2B Craft for its success.
