Final quarter is the busiest for social media activity

Brands should be maximising their social media strategy in the final quarter of the year according to data from Experian Hitwise. December is the busiest month for social media usage followed by October.

These stats will be good news for enterprise social networking site Tibbr, which recently launched its upgraded platform, Tibbr 3.0. New features include tibCommunities, which opens up the internal social networking function to partners, vendors and customers.

The social networking platform has also launched tibCast – a HD video conferencing ad-on, tibVoice – the ability to call and leave voice messages for those on their Tibbr wall and tibChat – the ability to launch instant message chat.

Chris Lynch, product marketing manager for Tibbr, said, “Most enterprise social platforms have been divorced from the unified communication tools that people have relied on for years to collaborate. With tibbr, users have unified communications at their fingertips, operating within the rich context of their enterprise social networking environment.”
