Google AdWords app now available on Android

Google has launched its AdWords app for the Android operating system.

The new Android app is available globally from the Google Play store.

AdWords is Google’s advertising service for businesses wanting to display ads on the search engine and its networks.

The new app will allow marketers to manage and monitor their campaigns while on the move.

The mobile app will display campaign stats, allow users to update bids, change budget and get real-time alerts.

Geoff Memegay, product manager at AdWords, explained: “Changes in campaign performance can happen at any time – now you can address them quickly, even when you’re away from your desk. For example, if you see your best performing campaign is maxing out on budget, you can make adjustments so you don’t lose out on potential sales. You can even pause or enable a campaign for a time – sensitive promotion.”
