Google goes down under

Search giant Google is targeting Australian advertisers and marketers as part of its global ad campaign to increase sales of its display adverts.

The campaign called ‘Watch this space’ launched globally on September 9, and on September 20 in Australia, and will encompass, print online and outdoor advertising.

In its Australian blog Google includes a case study of a company who used its display advertising services and says the campaign is designed to start a conversation with marketers.

‘Watch this space’ is the largest advertising initiative for its display ads that Google has ever run in Australia. The search provider hopes its expertise will improve display advertising for its customers.
