Google’s 2012 revenue tops $50 billion

Google has revealed its revenues exceeded $50 billion for the first time in 2012.

The figure represents a $14.4 billion increase, with net profits reaching $2.89 billion in the last quarter of 2012.

Larry Page, Google CEO, said, “We hit $50 billion in revenues for the first time last year – not a bad achievement in just a decade and a half.

“It’s an incredibly exciting time to be at Google.”
