Professional services firm Grant Thornton has launched its first national US marketing campaign in eight years.
The ‘Status Go’ campaign, created by gyro Chicago, is designed to highlight the tax and advisory brand’s tools, talent and expertise in helping customers break away from how things stand, with the message: ‘Status quo limits you. Status Go lifts you. Welcome to Status Go.’
The campaign imagery uses the theme of something fast being held back – a fighter jet by an anchor, or a sprinter by a rope.
John Harmeling, CMO of Grant Thornton, said: “‘Status Go’ gives us a chance to tell our story in a bold, distinctive way. If you listen to our clients, they tell us we’re agile, inspired, curious, principled, innovative, and focused on quality. We’ve tried to capture that meaningfully different category experience with ‘Status Go’.”
The campaign will run across print, digital and content marketing.
Mike Hensley, president of gyro Chicago, added: “As a challenger brand, [Grant Thornton] has a tremendous opportunity to reinvent itself and reignite awareness and consideration among its customers.”
