Gyro appoints Philip Black as SVP of strategy in Chicago and Denver

B2B agency Gyro has hired Philip Black as senior vice president of strategy for its Chicago, Illinois and Denver, Colorado offices.

He will report to Gyro president Chris Hill, where Philip will be developing marketing strategies for clients, including digital transformation, media programmes and innovative branding.

Black brings more than 20 years of experience advising brands and C-level leaders, including his previous role as head of strategy for B2B marketing agency Omobono.

Christoph Becker, global CEO and CCO of Gyro said: “Given the transformation agendas of client-side organisations, we are having to adapt and evolve our offerings to be even more valuable partners. Philip’s strong background, insights and relentless pursuit of innovation will greatly benefit Gyro and our clients as we continue to build out our strategy discipline.

The role was established to build out the strategy team in the US. Earlier this year, Gyro had appointed Kevin Fraser as its first head of precision in the US to oversee media operations.
