GyroHSR has celebrated a gold win by a beneficiary of its charitable G Foundation Skeleton team Bromley Ice in the World Cup Gold in Italy.
The agency has worked with Skeleton team Bromley Ice, comprising of Shelley Rudman and her partner Kristan Bromley for the last three years, providing sponsorship and marketing support through its G Foundation.
With the Winter Olympics drawing closer, GyroHSR recently announced a sponsorship deal with Bromley Ice to support the team in the run up to its Vancouver 2010 bid.
Rudman’s second run set a track record of 58.71 seconds at Cesana in Italy. She now leads the overall World Cup standings after a second-place finish in Lake Placid and fourth place in Park City. Former multiple world champion Kristan currently ranks ninth in the world rankings.
Richard Glasson GyroHSR CEO said, “The achievements of the Bromley Ice team don’t get the recognition they deserve, and we’re delighted to give whatever support we can. Our G Foundation is all about creating opportunities, and we hope that in some small way our sponsorship of Shelley and Kristan will give them the greatest chance of success, even as their education initiative spurs the next generation to make the most of their talents.”
