Cathay Pacific Airways highlighted its links with China by sponsoring London’s Chinese New Year celebrations.
It is the eighth successive year the company has sponsored the event, which took place on 6 February throughout central London, where many lanterns, banners and balloons could be seen bearing the airline’s name.
Roberto Abbondio, Cathay Pacific’s head of sales and marketing, UK and Ireland said, “We are delighted to continue our sponsorship of London’s Chinese New Year celebrations for the eighth year in a row. Our main focus for the businesses is to continue driving passenger growth on all routes, particularly within China.
“We are committed to being the region’s premier carrier and continue to demonstrate this commitment through improved products, services and routes.”
