Google’s director of business markets, Richard Robinson, has been appointed chair of the IDM B2B Marketing Council.
The IDM B2B Council is comprised of senior B2B marketers representing clients, agencies and suppliers, from brands including Google, British Gas Business and MasterCard. The Council exists to advise the IDM on all B2B-related initiatives with the aim of improving best practice standards across the B2B profession.
Mr Robinson explained: “I’m honoured to have been invited to take over as the new Council Chair at such an exciting time.
“I’m looking forward to building upon the great initiatives that have already been achieved under Debbie’s leadership and to continuing to work with such a passionate group of fellow Council members. It’s a privilege to advise and assist the IDM on its dual missions to continually improve marketing performance and attract the best talent to our profession.”
