Henman Communications activates Statoil’s CSR initiative

Sports PR and sponsorship specialists Henman Communications has activated international energy company Statoil’s Corporate and Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative ‘Heroes of tomorrow’.

The CSR programme supports talented young people in sport, culture and education, helping them to become the ‘Heroes of tomorrow’. 

The brand is the title sponsor of the Statoil Masters Tennis, the ATP World Tour’s Champions Tennis Tournament at the Royal Albert Hall in London. The comapny also sponsors former British No.1 and former top 40 WTA player Heather Watson, who is an ambassador for Statoil’s ‘Heroes of Tomorrow’ initiative and leading grass-roots tennis charity ‘Give It your max’.

Henman Communications manages and delivers the ‘Heroes of tomorrow’ media event on-court as well as a coaching clinic with Heather Watson, Tim Henman MBE, Virginia Wade OBE, Sir Trevor McDonald on court at the Royal Albert Hall. The programme also includes media partnership with the London Evening Standard and Tennishead magazine and website, creation and distribution of 60,000 Statoil branded Oyster Card Wallet with the London Evening Standard, online and VIP ticket giveaway with the paper.
