Housley, who has previously held roles at D&B and LBM, steps into the role with immediate effect following the departure of Lloyd to data business Info USA last week. Lloyd has left to become Info USA’s general manager and oversee its UK launch.
“I am looking forward to expanding my role and to taking Cyance forward. With a number of exciting new product developments in the pipeline we are confidently looking forward to more growth in 2008”, says Housley.
Adds Lloyd, “I have thoroughly enjoyed working with Cyance over the past year, however the opportunity to step back into the corporate world with such a dynamic global business data company as Info USA was too appealing to turn down”.
Cyance is preparing for the launch of its own data âmulti-verse’ (blended data file) later this month, which Housley says will incorporate “some of the biggest players in business data”. It has also just opened a new office in West London.
