IMEX appoints Spinnaker to drive visitor numbers

The worldwide exhibition for incentive travel, meetings and events, IMEX, has appointed integrated agency Spinnaker to run a marketing campaign designed at increasing visitor attendance.

Spinnaker must top last year’s numbers of around 9000 attendees, the events busiest three days over its seven year history. It will be using email, direct mail and inserts to raise visitor numbers at this year’s event being held in Frankfurt whilst specifically targeting German event and marketing professionals.

Over 3000 exhibitors from over 150 countries will be expected to attend, representing major hotel groups, airlines and destination management companies amongst others.

Robert Goldsmith of Spinnaker says, “It’s an exciting challenge to be tasked with the promotion of one of the world’s largest incentive travel and meetings shows.”
