B2B publisher Incisive Media has launched a lead generation portal that hooks vendors up with warm prospects in the technology and finance sectors.
IThound.com has been launched as a resource for decision makers in the financial and technology sectors, offering them free access to research and white papers. On a pay-per-lead basis, vendors can receive real time leads from those browsing the portal who have demonstrated an interest in their technology or service.
The portal leverages an online audience of more than 4.4 million monthly business professionals, who visit its network of flagship technology and finance websites including VNUnet.com, Computing.co.uk, AccountancyAge.com and TheInquirer.net.
“IThound.com represents a significant investment by Incisive Media to consolidate our position in the UK lead generation market,” says James Hanbury, chief executive, UK and Asia. “The ability to target a wider range of sectors offers opportunities for significant growth and allows more of our customers to take advantage of what really is a next generation service.”
The service guarantees an agreed number of warm leads over a set period. Vendors can set up quality controls for the types of lead they are looking for, for example excluding people from sectors or geographical locations that aren’t relevant to them, and if a vendor gets fewer leads than hoped during the agreed period, they can extend their campaign or apply for a pro-rata refund. It’s free to add research and white papers to the portal.
“Over the past four years we have refined our expertise in delivering online lead generation by delivering simple, effective solutions for our clients. IThound.com represents the culmination of that process and is concrete evidence of the importance of lead generation as a core revenue stream for Incisive Media’s wider portfolio of brands and sectors over the next five years,” says John Barnes, Incisive Media’s MD of digital strategy and development.
Clients including Cisco, IBM and MessageLabs have already signed up as vendors.
