Data provider InfoGroup – parent company of InfoUK – has announced the launch of its new B2B Data Warehouse product which it claims is a “single-source environment for B2B marketers.”
It is currently only available in the US, although if successful will be rolled out in the UK.
The resource provides marketing data from over 1500 sources. This includes a mixture of InfoGroup’s resources and those of companies under Direct Media’s management – a direct marketing services company acquired by InforGroup last year. Businesses within the Warehouse range from Fortune 500 companies to SMEs.
Ed Mallin, president of InfoGroup’s services division claims the expansive data available can be used for effective DM, email and telemarketing campaigns. He describes the technology as âindispensable’ saying, “[It offers] marketers the ability to know more about their existing and potential customers than from any other partner.”
The tool is designed to strengthen InfoGroup’s position in the business database sector. The new Warehouse is said to offer brand marketers insights to enhancing their CRM and customer acquisition as well as offering secure access to multiple layers of data sources.
The service will allow each data provider full control and approval of its usage, something Larry May InfoGroup’s Direct Media Millard president says is not available with all databases. May continues, “With thousands of lists and multiple overlay sources, users gain accurate, unduplicated email and postal data in every business sector.”
