Ketchum Pleon staff show their creative side

The agency’s “Not The Royal Academy Summer Show” is designed to encourage communications professionals to express their creativity at work through less traditional means.

The exhibition will feature artwork from at least 25 entrants from across the agency’s practices and will also incorporate two collectives: “The Healthcare Modernists” and “The Institute of Reality Research”. The works on display includes photography, installations and paintings, among others.

“We are proud to be home to so much talent and creativity in communications that our clients value every day, but this exhibition gives us an opportunity to discover and nurture in-house talent that goes beyond PR”, said David Gallagher, senior partner and president, Ketchum Pleon, and CEO of Ketchum Pleon London.

The work will be displayed anonymously from Monday 12 July to Wednesday 14 July, during which period the Ketchum Pleon staff are encouraged to vote for their favourite works.

The artists’ identities will be revealed on Thursday 15 July. The three most popular pieces will be announced at a “meet the artists” event on 15 July at 6 to 8 p.m., and the respective artists will be awarded prizes. All entrants will also be given a ticket to the Royal Academy Summer Show to show Ketchum Pleon’s “appreciation of their bravery.”

The “Not The Royal Academy Summer Show” is part of the art@Ketchum Pleon series established in 2009 and offers local artists the opportunity to show their work in a public art gallery housed in Ketchum Pleon’s London office.
