Digital social significance rating tool Klout now includes the five-month-old Google Plus network in its calculations.
Klout had been waiting for a certain level of uptake on Google’s platform before incorporating it into its judgements.
A blog posted on Klout’s website stated, “If you are active on Google Plus and have connected your Google Plus account to Klout, you will see a score increase.
“Regardless of activity level, no user with Google Plus connected will see a Score drop. Similarly, we do not penalise users who do not connect Google Plus accounts.”
