Legal sector use branding to stay ahead of competitors

Law firm Slater Heelis has revealed a new corporate identity with the aim of staying ahead of it competitors.

Slater Heelis, who provides services to businesses across the UK, is one of a number of law firms who have reacted to recent comment from the Legal Services Board who said they have faith in the ability of organisations other than law firms to offer legal services.

Its rebrand consists of a new logo, strapline and website in order to reflect its approach in offering services to a broader range of customers. It predicts, “law firms will look more closely at their brands and think more creatively to respond to the predicted changes in the legal services market.”

Mike Fox, managing partner of Slater Heelis says, “In a crowded marketplace, it becomes harder for the consumer to distinguish the best provider for their legal needs. Our new brand provides a platform for us to speak directly to customers with a clear and consistent message about what makes our approach different.”
