LinkedIn 227% more effective for lead generation

LinkedIn is 227 per cent more effective for lead generation than Twitter and Facebook, according to a new infographic by marketmakers.

However, 60 per cent of marketers find email the most successful tactic for gaining leads.

Additionally, your chances of contacting leads increase by 114 per cent if you call between 4pm to 6pm. Plus, marketers are 50 per cent more likely to succeed with a lead when calling on Wednesday or Thursday.

However, due to poor nurturing 79 per cent of leads never turn into sales. As a result, nurtured leads make 47 per cent bigger purchases than non-nurtured leads. But, it can take 11 sales attempts to close a deal.
