LinkedIn now boasts 100 million members worldwide. The milestone equates to a professional joining the site faster than one member per second.
On releasing the news LinkedIn created an infographic full of other facts including the fastest growing country on the site is Brazil, the most represented companies include Ebay and Apple and while there are 997,000 teachers on the professional networking site, there is only one martini whisperer.
The company hit 20 million European users in Dec 2010 and has recently announced the opening of a new office in Paris.
