LinkedIn launches ‘Company Pages’ app

Businesses can now bring their brand to life on LinkedIn, thanks to the launch of its new Company Pages tool.

The new functionality helps businesses attract new customers and strengthen company branding by providing a space for promotion, which is linked to generating word-of-mouth recommendations online.

LinkedIn users can write and share endorsements, which will also boosts their relevance to the network.

Jeff Weiner, CEO of LinkedIn, said, “Company Pages take product and service recommendations to a whole new level, allowing members to benefit from the considered perspectives of those whom they trust and relate to the most – the people they know.

“In addition, by displaying their strongest recommendations to prospective customers and employees on LinkedIn, businesses can use Company Pages to fuel growth and trust in their brands.”

Many B2B brands have already launched their Company Pages, including Powwownow, FT Press, Juniper Networks, Dell and Microsoft.
