Email marketing and online marketing solutions firm Lyris has appointed Michael Weston vice president of sales for the U.K. and Europe.
Based in London, Weston will be responsible for expanding international sales integrated online marketing suite Lyris HQ.
Weston, who has over 12 years’ experience in the online marketing space, joins Lyris from wunderloop, where he was responsible for increasing international sales for the company’s integrated online targeting services.
Weston was previously managing director at Silverpop EMEA for four years after Silverpop bought Digital Oxygen, a digital marketing agency founded by Weston in 2003.
“There is a growing market demand in Europe for an online marketing solution that integrates email marketing with proven channels, such as Web, social and mobile,” said Brian Bailard, senior vice president of global sales, Lyris. “The expertise of our U.K. team, in conjunction with Weston’s strong experience, is a powerful combination that will help us achieve continued international success.”

Lyris has already made moves in international markets following its acquisition of long-time partner Facultas, a full-service email marketing agency based in the U.K.
The company also extended its collaboration with BCM Partnership and Cogent Online in Australia, and Intaface Marketing in Latin America
