Marketers most likely to check emails outside of work hours

Nearly half of UK marketers log into work emails before and after business hours every day, according to research from Workfront.

Almost a further half (48 per cent) confessed to browsing their work emails every weekend, nearly double that of general office professionals (28 per cent).

Reasons marketers gave for checking their emails during out of office hours were to get ahead of work (44 per cent), too much work to do (33 per cent), availability for clients (28 per cent) and expectation from their employers (27 per cent).

On the bright side, the survey also revealed marketers are among the most refreshed of UK employees, with 76 per cent of marketing respondents stating they were ready to take on 2016.
