Gyro UK’s former creative director Matt Casey has joined Armstrong to oversee creative output and implement creative strategies for clients.
With 27 years of experience, Matt joins the marketing agency as chief creative officer, after long spells at international agencies PDP (now Momentum), TBWA and gyro UK.
Having worked across both B2B and B2C, Matt will be responsible for implementing creative strategies for clients, as well as overseeing the overall creative output as Armstrong looks to strengthen its position as an integrated B2B agency.
Matt has delivered large-scale projects for companies including Manchester United, Brother and Nokia, as well as global brands such as PZ Cussons, Nissan and AS Watson.
Armstrong says it’s committed to continued investment in the company, with 2019 seeing 30% growth due to new client wins across Europe.
Matt Casey said: “I’m very fortunate to have worked under the tutelage of creative giants Danny Brooke-Taylor and Christoph Becker at gyro, which has put me in good stead. I’m delighted to join such a vibrant, progressive agency. There’s a real sense of drive and ambition within the Armstrong DNA.”
Daniel Owen, CEO at Armstrong, added: “ We are delighted that Matt has joined Armstrong to strengthen our board and creative talent. In line with our vision to be the UK’s leading B2B agency for manufacturing, we needed a creative head that could lead and inspire the creative team and work with clients to achieve their objectives.”
