McCann Manchester has a launched a book of Christmas ghost stories.
The creative agency is celebrating the festive season a bit differently this year, with the book based on four decades of haunting at its own headquarters, Bonis Hall in Cheshire.
The book entitled Probably The Most Haunted Advertising Agency in the World, has been written by McCann Manchester’s creative director Neil Lancaster. The author has spent the last 18 months interviewing past and present employees about their ghostly experiences that occurred in the agency’s old hall building, as well as in the grounds.
The book contains an array of haunting stories. For example, pictured is former chairman of McCann Mancheter, Roger Murray, in his office at Bonis Hall where he experienced a number of unexplained occurrences over his time at McCann.
The author commented: “I’ve interviewed countless people about their experiences and there are a number of consistent themes going back over more than four decades. I won’t give away too much but there really are more questions than there are answers.”
All proceeds from the book will go to local charity East Cheshire Hospice.
