Microsoft has been revealed as the UK’s most influential brand, according to a recent poll by The Guardian.
The tech giant edged out second-placed TripAdvisor and third-placed Amazon in The Guardian Influential Brands list.
The list was determined using the impact of the four pillars of influence: commercial, societal, audience inward and audience outward.
Top brands with B2B arms that appeared in the list included Google (fourth), Apple (24th) and British Airways (56th).
Interestingly, Pinterest was the highest ranked social media brand in 30th place, with Facebook ranking 46th, LinkedIn 68th and Twitter surprisingly ranking 122nd, the least influential social media brand.
Finishing first, Microsoft was the highest ranking tech brand, with Google ranking fourth, Samsung 12th and Sony 19th.
