Martech firms Marketo, Splio and Concured have all appointed to experienced marketers to leadership positions.
Marketo is continuing to expand its leadership team with the appointment of former SAP chief digital marketing officer Mika Yamamoto to the new role of global president. Mika, who spoke at Ignite 2018, brings more than 20 years of experience to the role. Before her position at SAP, Mika launched the first brick-and-mortar Amazon Books store in her role as head of marketing and merchandising at Amazon, in addition to spending six years at Microsoft.

Splio strengthens digital capabilities with Charles Wells appointment
Omnichannel marketing platform Splio has appointed Charles Wells as CMO, hoping to strengthen its product marketing and digital capabilities to support international growth.
Charles comes to the role with more than 30 years of experience, holding several positions in digital marketing as chief product officer in Europe, the United States, and the Middle East. More recently, Charles spent three years in the e-commerce sector, before returning to loyalty marketing at Splio, where his first task is to design a global marketing and communication strategy for the group.
Michael Brenner joins Concured as CMO
Concured has also appointed a new CMO, Michael Brenner, who will lead the content strategy platform’s worldwide marketing campaigns.
Michael has been recognised as a Forbes top CMO influencer, and a Top Business Keynote Speaker by Huffington Post. He is co-author of two books, The Content Formula and Digital Marketing Growth Hacks, and has worked in leadership positions in sales and marketing for SAP, Nielsen, and start-ups NewsCred and FullTilt.
