It struck me a little while back that the influence your manager has on your career is instrumental in your personal development and career opportunities.
I have been lucky to work for some great people in the past and it’s these relationships that have shaped me as a marketer. Albert Einstein famously once said, “Anyone who has never made a mistake, has never tried anything new” and it’s this sort of experience that makes good managers invaluable to the development of their teams.
In my 15 year career in marketing I’ve tried more new things than I care to remember and as a result have learnt what works and what doesn’t.
So, I’m opening up the opportunity to mentor some up and coming marketing talent that needs the benefit of experience and advice from someone outside of their working environment.
