NEP launches Love Northamptonshire campaign

Love Northamptonshire, a new campaign championing Northamptonshire as an ideal location for business, has resulted in over 50 enquiries from companies interested in moving to the county.

The project has been developed by Northamptonshire Enterprise Partnership (NEP) in partnership with Northamptonshire County Council and with assistance from marketers from global brands local to the county.

The objective of the campaign is to encourage businesses based elsewhere in the UK and overseas to consider relocating to the county so they can expand and create jobs. The creative positions Northamptonshire  as cost-effective and conveniently located, just one hour from London.

Promotion of the campaign, which specifically targeted London based businesses, included posters at London Underground and main line stations, walking billboards at Kings Cross, St Pancras and London Euston stations, banner adverts on LBC radio website and online advertising.

The campaign also coincided with the launch of LOCATE – an initiative offering grants of up to £20,000 to encourage businesses to move to and prosper in Northamptonshire. As a result, Love Northamptonshire showcases LOCATE and other business support available in the county, sending a clear message to potential investors: Northamptonshire is open for business.

Tim Bagshaw, head of Iinvestment at NEP, said: “An outstandingly creative and engaging campaign, Love Northamptonshire makes a clear case for what can be achieved with local engagement, a comprehensive portfolio of business support activity and a forward-thinking county council.

“We were aiming to attract great people, business investment and quality jobs through this campaign and the impressive results show this is already happening.”
