For the first time, B2B Marketing is giving practitioners immediate access to highly focused content that is directly related to their business objectives and interests. The Knowledge Bank Alerts are a preference-based email service which allows marketers to receive a digest of all the latest content relating to their areas of interest, on either a daily or weekly basis.
Joel Harrison, editor of B2B Marketing, comments, “B2B marketers have very specific information needs, and this new service will make sure they get immediate access to the most relevant content.” (See below for how to sign up to these alerts).
The alert service is free to all registered users of B2B Marketing Online and is focused on the hot topics subject areas which are covered by the Knowledge Bank area of the website. There are currently ten B2B Marketing Knowledge Bank areas, with subjects ranging from social media and marketing automation to brand and data and users can opt-in to receive alerts from as many different areas as they like. Click here for the Knowledge Bank homepage, where you can view a full list of subject areas available.
Alerts contain details of the latest news, feature articles and case studies to be published in that specific Knowledge Bank – users can opt in to receive alerts on a daily or weekly basis. If no new articles are published in the Knowledge Bank of choice in preceding period, no email alert will be sent.
The service will quickly be expanded to include links to the latest blogs, relevant events, reports, research and new downloads.
“The Knowledge Bank Alert service is part of our ongoing development programme to ensure we’re providing the best possible service to our members, and giving the information they need to succeed in their roles,” adds Joel Harrison. “A number of other additional exciting developments are also in the pipeline – watch this space.”
