New SVP for EMC

Hélène Barnekow has been promoted to senior vice president of worldwide field and channel marketing for EMC.

Barnekow will be responsible for leading the development of the company’s field and channel marketing operations across the globe, and will report to Jeremy Burton, EMC’s Chief Marketing Officer.

Burton said: “In less than two years at EMC, Hélène has made a significant impact, successfully leading Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) marketing’s transition from a divisional operation to a cohesive and effective team that is tightly aligned with the business’ sales goals and priorities.

“Through this structure she has successfully driven EMC’s cloud computing campaigns and thought-leadership initiatives across the theatre. I am pleased that we will be able to bring her leadership to bear more broadly in this new worldwide role.”
