Commercial vehicle hire company, Northgate has launched an internal health and safety campaign.
The inhouse initiative, developed by creative agency Manifest Communications, aims to communicate key messages to the company’s 2000+ employees in 60 branches across the UK.
Carly Gould, head of marketing at Northgate Vehicle Hire, commented, “Looking after our employees is as important as communicating with our customers and we wanted to use this campaign as a platform to show that, as well as getting across a serious message.”
Introduced to Northgate through the launch of its new website in May, the campaign features two characters ‘Safe’ and ‘Sound’. They are pictured in different scenarios for 10 key principles to highlight hazardous situations and encourage health and safety in the workplace.
Nev Ridley, joint managing director at Manifest Communications, said, “The characters will be used throughout Northgate’s internal and external comms over the next year and are already succeeding in tying everything together. The health and safety campaign and the new site are the most recent initiatives but there’s a lot more in the pipeline.”
The inhouse campaign follows last year rebrand for Northgate to raise brand awareness.
