Over half of B2B leaders believe their brand is not well understood externally

Over half of B2B leaders believe their brand is not well understood by those outside their company, according to the B2B Leaders 2013 Report.

Meanwhile, 74 per cent of leaders agree their brand is well understood by those within the company.

Unsurprisingly, organisations spending the greatest amount on B2B marketing were far more comfortable they are getting their brand’s message across.

Fifty-eight per cent of those spending more than £5 million say their brand is well understood outside the organisation, as opposed to 36 per cent of those spending less than £1 million annually on B2B marketing.

However, this still leaves many high-spending organisations who feel, despite large budgets, their brand is not understood outside by potential prospects.
